Are you available for school events and other author events?
Yes, as an author, I’m available for in-person and virtual events. Please check out the Events page for my information and to arrange an event.
Will you read/critique my book or introduce me to your agent/editor?
Unfortunately, I can’t read or critique your manuscript. I would advise writers looking for agents to refer to the Writers and Artists Yearbook for a list of agents and to use Google/Twitter as a way to find literary agencies. I cannot make introduction nor recommend authors to my agent, she has her own system of looking for new clients. The same applies to editors I work with; most editors will only take agented submissions. However, there are times when some publishers have open submissions and will look at manuscripts (they usually announce this on Twitter or even the Bookseller). I would highly advise authors join Society of Authors (SoA) or Society of Children Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) for additional support.
